Beginning Astrology
The fundamental and astronomical basis of astrology. We will explore the basic principles and building blocks of astrology: the planets, signs, houses, qualities and elements. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology 2
In this class we will be working with the important first steps of basic chart synthesis - putting planets in signs. We'll start with an overview of the planetary functions and then move into the meat of the class which is synthesizing planets in signs. Be prepared to do homework and to participate in class. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology 3
In this class we will concentrate on putting depth into the psychological principles of the planets in signs (Astrology 2) as they manifest through the houses. This is a class is reasoning! We play with the planets in signs - changing the houses - in order to learn basic techniques in syntheses. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology 4 - Planetary Dispositors
In this class we explore the function and application of this extremely important element to chart synthesis/interpretation. We will add the dispositor to the equation of planet in a sign and house, which refines and add depth to the placement. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology 5 - Houses & House Rulerships
In this class we will explore houses & their rulerships. We begin with a review of the houses and their functions, then we apply basic synthesis techniques in looking at the sign on a house cusp, the ruler and then the significance and meaning of any planets in the house. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology 6 - Phases & Aspects, Part 1
This is the first of a three part series. In this class we will explore and examine the nature and application of aspects within the eight planetary phases and how they work to bring the chart together as a whole. The methodology for calculation the phases and aspects will be taught during the first two weeks, the rest of the class will focus on the first two phases: New & Crescent and the aspects corresponding to those phases. Students must have some basic astrological knowledge. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology 7 - Phases & Aspects, Part 2
This is the second of a three part series. In this class we will explore the next three phases: First Quarter, Gibbous & Full and the aspects corresponding to those phases. Students must have some basic astrological knowledge. (6 weeks/12 hours)   

Astrology 8 - Phases & Aspects, Part 3
In this class we will examine the last three phases: Disseminating, Last Quarter & Balsamic and the aspects corresponding to those phases. Students must have some basic astrological knowledge. (7 weeks/14 hours)

Astrology 9 - Chart Synthesis
In this 8 week class we will combine the Planetary view (planet, sign, house, & dispositor), the House View (house, sign & ruler) with aspects & phases to create a holistic view of the chart. We will start with one planet & one house expanding to multiple houses & planets. Looking at such issues as: Early home conditioning & emotional dynamics, Learning/communication styles, spiritual path, career & relationships.

Astrology 10 - Pluto Method
In this class we will take a look at the "Pluto Method" of chart interpretation from Jeffrey Green's book Pluto - The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul. We will review chapter 1 - the basic rules of the method, then each week we will apply the methods by looking at charts. (7 weeks/14 hours)

Astrology 11 – Karmic Astrology: The Lunar Nodes
In this 7 week class we’ll explore the basic psychological/karmic implications of the Lunar Nodes.  From the South Node’s pull to the past and the issues of comfort, to the North Node and the issues of dharma – the path of growth and issues of resistance.  We explore the important aspects to the Nodes as well as the Nodes through the Signs & Houses. (7 weeks/14 hours)

Transits
In this class we will explore and examine the nature of transiting planets. We will focus on the outer planets and how they effect the houses and planets of the natal chart. Students must have basic knowledge of aspects. (7 weeks/14 hours)

Transits & Progressions
What is a progression? How is it different from a transit? How can they be used together? What is a tri-wheel? These and other questions will be answered in this 4 week class. (6 weeks/12 hours)

Astrology of Solar Returns
The Solar Return chart is a powerful and expressive tool for understanding the issues of the "solar year" (birthday to birthday). The chart is calculated for the exact moment in time the transiting Sun returns to conjunct the natal Sun, on or around the birthday each year. Learn how to use this dynamic chart for yearly guidance and direction.

Relationship Astrology

This 7 week class is jam-packed with information and techniques on the art of relationship astrology. We'll be addressing karmic connections through synastry, as well as other powerful tools for understanding basic compatibility between any two charts. Composite chart work will be included. All assignments and class examples will be pulled from the students attending. (7 weeks/14 hours)

Chart Interpretation Class
In this 7 week class we explore and practice the art of chart interpretation.  Each week Laura will present you with several charts to study; in class you'll work on and practice your skills of chart interpretation. This is your opportunity to practice your craft in a safe and supportive environment. This class is suitable for most levels of knowledge and Laura will provide advice and techniques for reading the chart. (7 weeks/14 hours)

The Asteroid Goddesses
 In this 4 week class we will explore the four major asteroid goddesses - Vesta, Juno, Ceres and Pallas Athena.   We'll examine the original Greek and Roman myths, using the old stories to build an understanding of how they are used in the natal chart. (4 weeks/8 hours) 

The Moon: Emotional Needs & Coping Skills
Each and every person on the planet has developed a way of dealing with emotional stress.  These “Coping Skills” have been developed over many lifetimes and are re-stimulated in the early life.  The sign, house, rulership, and aspects to the Moon, as well as the sign and rulership of the fourth house, give us a fairly complete picture of their emotional coping skills.  These skills help us “get through” life, but they do not, however, bring us a true sense of emotional well being.  Learn how to create emotional well being in your life and help others to do the same. (6 weeks/12 hours) 

Mars: From Desire to Action
From desire to action – how do we activate our will?  In this 6 week class, we will explore Mars through the signs and house; looking at how the desire is or isn’t acted upon.  We’ll also explore the issue of anger and aggression and how it is or isn’t manifested. (6 weeks/12 hours)
